Exhaust

The exhaust system serves two main purposes. First, it carries off carbon monoxide and other harmful gases produced by the engine. Second, it muffles engine noise. Have a mechanic check your exhaust system for leaks in order to minimize the chances of carbon monoxide poisoning. Carbon monoxide is odorless, very hard to detect, and it can kill.
Exhaust systems can be made, installed and repaired for:

John's uses aluminized steel tubing for longer life and rust resistance to makes tail pipes. He can bend exhaust pipe up to 3" in diameter and he can order mandrel bent pipe for most modern applications. John's carries and installs tips, either chrome plated or stainless steel.

John's has the tail pipe specifications on file for thousands of Vintage car and truck models. If your Vintage car was built after 1946 there is a good chance the John can build an exhaust system to factory specifications. These symptoms can indicate brake problems:

• The car pulling to one side during braking.
• Squeaks, grinding or other noises when the brakes are applied.
• The pedal goes farther toward the floor than normal.
• The pedal pulsates during regular (non-panic) braking.
• Evidence of brake fluid inside the tire/wheel or on the ground.
